Meet Susie Hawkins, the new Children’s Programming Coordinator at Chester Springs Library. Originally from Houston, Texas she is a Villanova University graduate and is pursuing her Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas. Susie has experience coordinating children’s activities involving nature, hiking, cooking, arts and crafts, and STEM. We are very happy to have her with us!
Perhaps you’ve already met Susie at story time or playdough morning? If not, you’ll have lots of opportunities soon because she has awesome programs planned for March. She’s also very excited about the programs she is planning for summer. Including juggling!! One of her many talents is juggling and she’ll be holding a juggling workshop for children and teens this summer. Plus, a pirate treasure hunt, STEM classes, and lots of arts and crafts. Next time you visit us at the library, make sure you say “Hi” to Susie.
